Youth Service

Our Youth Service offers a range of accessible and fun opportunities for local young people, aged 11-25. Young people can challenge themselves, make new friends and learn new skills.

We have activities available both in term-time and in the school holidays – please see below for more information.

Our opportunities

Move it Mondays

An inclusive dance group delivered by DanceWest. Based at the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith. 

Evening classes:

  1. 4:30pm – 5:30pm for 8-15 years
  2. 5:30pm – 6:30pm for 16-26 years

Cost: £10 per term

Youth Club

Our focus is to encourage independence and access opportunities in the local area.

When: Thursdays (term-time) from 4.30-7.30pm

Where: Cambridge School, Shepherd’s Bush, W12 0SP

Who: young disabled people aged 13-25 years

Cost: free for Hammersmith and Fulham residents, fee for those outside the borough

Friday After School Club

An opportunity to have fun, learn new skills and make friends. 

When: Fridays from 3.15-6.15pm

Where: Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith, W6 0QL

Who: young disabled people aged 11-16

Cost: free for Hammersmith and Fulham residents, fee for those outside the borough

Holiday Youth Programme

We offer a range of exciting activities during the school holidays.

When: daily during school holidays, 9.30am-3.30pm

Where: Action on Disability, Fulham, SW6 7SR

Who: young disabled people aged 11-25

Cost: free for Hammersmith and Fulham residents, fee for those outside the borough

Transport services are available.

Soundz

An inclusive music project funded by Youth Music and delivered in partnership with Lyric Hammersmith. We provide an accessible and inclusive environment where young people can learn, create, and enjoy making music.

Duke of Edinburgh Awards

We deliver the Duke of Edinburgh Awards (DofE) to all young people aged 14 – 25 years. We are one of the few directly licensed centres in West London that gives young disabled people the opportunity to gain accreditation and skills.
